This week blends global textile traditions with modern creativity — perfect for teens who love detail, design, and making with meaning. 🧵 This Week’s Projects & Techniques: Sashiko Stitching – traditional Japanese stitching with pattern design and stenciling Modern Mending – visible repair techniques that are both practical and stylish Slow-Stitched Mug Rug – mindfulness meets mini-quilting Hand-Stitched Fabric Collage Zipper Pouch – create and sew a functional art piece Fabric Collage & Embroidery Canvas Tote – decorate and personalize a tote with texture and flair Kawandi Quilting – explore a rich South Asian quilting tradition using hand stitching English Paper Piecing – intricate, geometric fabric art with a portable twist Hand-Stitched Wool Monster – design and sew your own playful, fuzzy creature Each teen receives all supplies and a personal stitching toolkit to keep, encouraging them to continue creating long after the week ends. 📅 Join us for one week or all four— every week is different, and all are hands-on and fun! 🧵 Spots are limited to keep it personal and creative.
